Self-esteem+God=Healthy

As most of you know I have just recently got back on the dating scene and is kind of nervous about it.For one I took a break from it because I got burnt out and fed up of people getting in my business. Most people know that I am very private when it comes to my dating relatioships. Most people my age actually are married and have beautiful families. For me I have never cared much for marrying young.Even when I was in highschool I never really had any intentions of having a family under the age of  twenty-five.With the technologies they have available these days I encourage anyone to live out there twenties and have fun with it.Thats just my opinion and you are more than welcome to give me yours. In the process of trying to get myself back on the dating scene I first needed to work on myself. To most people that sounds crazy but to me it was the perfect excuse to keep people off my back.I really did need a confidence boost and needed to work on my relationship with God.Here are a few things I did to help me with my self-esteem and relationship with God:
  1. I started putting scriptures on my mirror which I read off to myself every morning while I was fixing my hair.
  2. Instead of focusing on my weaknesses I made a list of my strengths which you can get a friend to help you on this one.I realized I had more strengths then I had weaknesses!Pretty Amazing!
  3. Put up an act! When I acted like I had confidence I got peoples attention.
  4. Always compliment somebody because they will compliment you back. That helped me without them even realizing they were doing me a favor.
  5. Just be yourself because There is always going to be that one girl that is more insecure than you are.If you have confidence there going to talk about you.Just play nice and compliment them because you know waht it feels like to be in her shoes.
Just so you know I am still applying these to my own life.I am not as confident as I want to be but im getting there!I know God made every person extra special for a reason. We all have a purpose in life!
