First Basement of 2010!!

Every since the last Basement of the year I have been counting down till the first Basement of the year.I have to say that the first Basement of the year really changed some lives.For me personally I have been having a rough time with my mom being in the hospital and I was ready to worship.The title "No Turning Back" didn't even give it justice!Most of the time I sit in the chairs but this time I got to sit upclose on the floor.Being in the front was excitng!Matt started off by telling a story about a little boy who kept getting pulled down by his mother and father.They had pretty much knocked the little boys self-esteem down and had him almost in tears.Matt made the point that in human flesh we may not be capable of doing something but with our faith in God nothing is impossible!For me my favorite story was Matt being intimidated by someone before he was going on stage at a college campus to give them some inspiration.Even Matt sometimes lets human flesh take over but his bodyguard had to remind him what was important at the moment.He nailed it and won souls!As a visualization he put a cute little bull dog up on the scream and was poking his head out and barking.I laughed everytime even though it was a good way to get his point across.Be a positive leader not a follower!Take a stand on what you believe in even though society may not accept you.Jesus was spit on,called names,and back stabbed by people but he still loved us enough to die on that cross!Nothing compares to the LOVE God has for each and every one of us!Cannot wait for the Basement next month!I have a little hint that it is going to be about Love and I hope to see you there.I am always up for making new friends so do not be shy to walk up and talk to me.Check out the website http://www.thebasementonline.com/.
