Fifth Quarter at The Brook Besor
Fifth Quarter is a Youth After-Game Experience held each Friday after Pell City and Victory Christian home football games in a safe, secure environment. Dates are September14, 28, October 5, 19, 26, and November 2. Connect, fellowship, friends. Food available for purchase. Live music.
When I arrived at The Brook Besor Friday night I was blown away by a christian band called Perfect Sacrifice that was leading the crowd in worship on the main stage.The band is made up of four individuals who are just on fire to serve the Lord and such a blessing to everyone they come in contact with on a daily basis. I hope you guys come out to hear them this Friday night at The Brook Besor because you will be blessed!!! They were even nice enough to let me take a picture with them!

The "Antivirus" Youth Small Group from The Brook Besor has worked together to design and implement this community project. All proceeds benefit cancer patients at Children's Hospital. The events will take place at Lakeside Park. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m., with a 1 Mile Fun Run to follow. Family Fall Festival will last until 12:30 p.m. During the race, local teachers will provide childcare at no cost to participants. The first 100 runners to register will receive a free race T-shirt in their registration packet. Complimentary refreshments will be served to particpants and family members. Awards will be given to top runners in each age category, and a surprise will be awarded to EVERY child who participates in the fun run. The Post-race festivities will be awesome - live music with Christian bands, moonwalks, face painting, family-friendly games, and LOTS of door prizes for those that register. Sponsors needed. This chick was excited to see The Homecoming at Ignite 2011!I made shure I got up front so that I could get some good pictures.The Homecoming is a band all the way from Ohio and are a very talented group of young guys!Always ready to use the talent God gave them to spread the gospel!
I enjoyed talking to them off stage and they are such gentlemens.They even remembered me from last year which was pretty cool and shows you how much they appreciate there fan base!!
Getting the crowd involved and of course we know the words to the songs!!

Gods Promises!!
A week ago I got to see the prettiest rainbow.It has been a long time since I have seen a rainbow that was so colorful and distinct.Just seeing a rainbow brought ease to my spirit and immediately brought a smile to my face.For me that rainbow in the sky stood for Gods promises for my life.One of my favorite Bible stories since I was a little kid in Sunday school is "Noah And The Ark".The rainbow was put in the sky by God as a promise to Noah that he would not flood the earth and would never bring a flood to destroy and make all flesh corrupt.This is one of the first promises God made in the Bible when he first created Earth.I know that as long as I obey God and get closer to him that his promises will always be there.All I got to do is stay in the word,obey God, keep seeking God,and reminding him of all his promises he has for me.I serve one amazing God!!!Make shure your read Genesis Ch 9
