Love + Kindness = Christlikeness

As christians we should automaticly know that we should love one another just as Jesus did us.But do we really show love and kindness towards one another? Here is a little scenario for you that might get your attention.A few weeks ago I was standing in the grocery line waiting for my turn. The line was already long enough before I stood in it.One of the customers behind me decided to confront the manager about the lines. The manager trying to calm the customer down thought it would be appropriate to let the customer break in line.If the customer would have broke in line in front of me this whole story would of turned out differently. With the customers luck he broke in line three people in front of me.It did not set well with the customers in front of me much less the people behind me.After the customer calmed down from cussing the manager and having to deal with the people around him.He turned around to realize that the one customer that did not say one word was ME!He realized who I was and felt embarrassed.Considering that he was someone that I highly respected. All I could say was "It is okay Jesus will forgive you!"The look on his face told me he was convicted. Now if he would of handled himself in a christlike manner that situation would not of been as stressful as it was. Here are some ways you can show some acts of kindness:
  1. Send a handwritten note.
  2. offer to do a errand for them.
  3. Let them break in front of you in line.
  4. Call just to say "Hello!"
  5. Have manners "Please and Thank you!" go really far in some situations.
  6. A treat in the vending machine.Pick out a treat, pay for it and leave it in the machine!
  7. Go to your local thrift store and stick a $1-$5 in a coat jacket or pair of pants on the rack.Trust me it will bless someone!
"The world is not impressed by our bumper stickers and christian jewerly. They want to see fruit of Godly behavior. They want to see lives energized by the spirit of God that reflect the image of Jesus." Quoted by Joyce Meyers.
