When I arrived at The Brook Besor Friday night I was blown away by a christian band called Perfect Sacrifice that was leading the crowd in worship on the main stage.The band is made up of four individuals who are just on fire to serve the Lord and such a blessing to everyone they come in contact with on a daily basis. I hope you guys come out to hear them this Friday night at The Brook Besor because you will be blessed!!! They were even nice enough to let me take a picture with them!

The "Antivirus" Youth Small Group from The Brook Besor has worked together to design and implement this community project. All proceeds benefit cancer patients at Children's Hospital. The events will take place at Lakeside Park. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m., with a 1 Mile Fun Run to follow. Family Fall Festival will last until 12:30 p.m. During the race, local teachers will provide childcare at no cost to participants. The first 100 runners to register will receive a free race T-shirt in their registration packet. Complimentary refreshments will be served to particpants and family members. Awards will be given to top runners in each age category, and a surprise will be awarded to EVERY child who participates in the fun run. The Post-race festivities will be awesome - live music with Christian bands, moonwalks, face painting, family-friendly games, and LOTS of door prizes for those that register. Sponsors needed.
